Jandor Missing

It began as a normal Norwick day: goblins and bugbear attacked, but adventurers stood between them and the town itself. But then dretches and other foul things began to pour from the portal near the south wall that had lain inactive since the crystal retreat. The minor demons were followed by a great cat, like a panther, that some claim resembled beasts of Malar they had fought in the past, except this one displayed the ability to turn invisible. The cat-shaped beast escaped and was followed by a towering, fiery, winged giant that eventually retreated back into the portal
Later, a herald gathered three adventurers (Fadia Meret, Raisa Dyernina, and Kerik Benson) and brought them to Jandor's home. The inside was the scene of a massacre. There was enough blood for at least one to have died. Two rugs were missing. No tracks or blood were found outside. Inside, no paw prints were found, but the two druids immediately suspected the demon cat.

Dwin Dolvak has been seen in Norwick much more than usual, making minor improvements to the Crafting hall and walking around town, visiting with old friends.
I just met with Jandor the other day. He was his typical old self…
He and I made some business arrangements...I am glad I got them through before he up and left...
