Q - a mystery letter

It seemed a peaceful night in Jiyyd and although the bodies of the fallen from the past battles began their slow decay, it seemed as if battle had left Jiyyd for the time being. In the square near the well sat four women, a Kelemvorite, an Uthgarian, a Sharessan and a Beshaban when a man stepped out of the darkness of the road, and cast a spell, lightning striking on the group of three women, excluding the Kelemvorite. Burnt and angry the women killed what turned out to be an undead ancestor of the Nars. Engraved on his skull was the letter "Q". Following this, the women set off first to the graveyard in Norwick, then later the Kelemvorite gathered them to seek the planes. Where they found a site where some undeads waited. They managed to hunt down a man that was dressed in Damaran armor.
Seemingly related an old story was brought up by the Beshaban about a man that was slain right in front of Jiyyd's wall. Holding in his hands a note that spoke of a "Q" and a meeting in a usual place. Oddly enough the man was bitten to dead by a summoned badger, and the old and new corpse had summoned a badger, too, while fighting the priestesses. If this old murder has finally been resolved, and the murderer found final justice is unclear. Also it seems unlikely that an undead would murder of its own volition or make appointments, for that matter.
