Word gets around about some Pelatrch Magistrate that was looking for Dev ((Nars Trader))… and was quite rude about it too. Some twiggy looking blond fellah with a loud mouth on him.

Sy'wyn can be seen seeking counsel from Tara, Katya and the King. He is holding a sheaf of papers which he ruffles through as he passes to and from each. Anyone with sharp eyes would notice that three seem to be Peltarch issued arrest warrants, one seems to be someone's oath papers that Sy'wyn has pulled, and the remainder is a long report written in Sy'wyn's own carefully penned hand. He is often heard mumbling something about a "thieves haven" and at one point stops to pen something else onto his report.
//I am on quite often.. catch me IG when you have time and i will happily sit in on an Elders meeting, or else a PM will do fine//

Bow can be seen around the fire rambling on about a similar winged wench explained by Elrin. Word has it that the lady peed on a few of the camp memebrs out in the woods, then flew away with an evil cackle. Some also hear about a meeting with a tree lady who appeared after a short battle with some spider-like creatures. Bow also says that the tree lady seemed pretty desperate, and Bow explains that he thinks the driders are moving closer into town, endangering the inhabitants.

Since Kaona left Anakore he has not been seen as often in the Camp as before, anymore, yet he still is a common sight at the fires during his off hours from his job in the city. When he show's up, he seems joyous, eager to share a tale or even a song with the locals. It seems life is treating him well.
-
_Arandor and Tala tell tale of a 'winged demon wench' seen in the spider woods… Some believe she was a harpy. They advise travellers to be wary of them, and above all... do not let them them fly above you.
...Several days later, unrelated rumors spread of giant shrieking mushrooms in the camp storage and recently discovered mines... The Rom and Gali are warned to stay clear of them, beetles are drawn to the noise... Fire seems effective._
-
Rumor has it there's been a gay dwarf running around camp lately muttering to himself.
-
Folks, please try to keep the nature of your posts rumors, not just rehashing of a factual event. Generalize them. They should not be a blow by blow… and they should not be entirely factual. Not to pick on SarahSmiles but to alter her post so that it is suitable for the Gypsy Rumor thread it could read something like this:
Penny and Darryanna were seen having a heated conversation with some gaji they called Vance something-or-other. They even came to blows and afterwards Darryana could be seen yelling at a dwarf (who some recognized as Storn) when he healed the gaji after the battle.
-
//relating to pennys post
_Darryanna came upon the scene late….after Penny had draged Vance away from the fires and he had drawn his sword...darry quickly stepped out of the shadows and tried to place herself between them....she whistled and called her companion down from a limb above them trying to get Vance to leave peacefully
After the breakdown in talks darry sliced Vance down from behind as he tried to escape......vented her anger on storn after he healed vance then followed Vance north after he finally left....confronting Malvado on the way_

A quiet girl Amalia, whom many may know by name but few have yet met her in depth wanders about the camp, looking to the beauties of nature and going for long walks around in the woods just by the camp. She watches the dogs wearily as if they may attack her and she smiles at most everything. The other night though about a week passed now many had seen her run into camp crying, and Penny was known to be able to quiet the girl and spoke to her while playing soothing music.

::Arthro and Sy were seen walking outside to see this group of travellers outside trying to pick A fight with the eastlanders as they waited for Arthro to come out …. Arthro was later heard talking by the fire that he may leave camp soon until this matter is taken care of so that no harm will come to the Gali....
-
::talk swirls around the camp about Arthro and the claims a bard made against him. The king and the guards quickly showed support of Arthro, as no Gali or Romani will ever be threatened by a Gaji and not have all come to his or her aid. After things calmed down. The king was overheard talking about Gali and romani must never discuss camp matters with outsiders. The king was heard yelling at several Gali. The king has requested and urgent meeting with all the elders of the camp::
-
Sy'wyn is amused at the rumors. When asked what happened, Sy replies simply, that the bard did not come alone, but with a number of people who immediately set into Arthro. After asking proof, or even better claims as to what happened, Sy asked everyone to leave the camp to avoid a fight as that seemed to be what everyone was pushing for. Not a single one left at his request until the King made clear the same intentions of no blood letting in the camp. Zyphlin made clear his intentions of banning Arthro from Peltarch, and then his group waited in the pass, most would assume for Arthro to leave alone. Zyphlin nor any of the others were banned from camp by Sy, only asked to leave.
-
(( I hope i'm not out of line for posting here as i'm not a camper, but i was involved in this so this rumor at least, zyphlin would know ))
Campers likely tell of a bard from peltarch that has visited the camp often in the past years, by the name of Zyphlin, strode into camp with a determined look on his face. He confronted the "Ranger" known as arthro, demanding to know what god he followed, proclaiming the man a cleric of Malar and the one bringing harm upon the camp and the druid Fadia. Arthro scoffed at teh rumors, not stating his god but stating he is a "Simple ranger". Sy'wyn was quick to support him, turning back the bard, and urging him to leave the camp immedietly for his rantings and ravings. Proof was asked for but it is said the bard simply laughed, saying he had proof but proof the camp would likely scoff at before its to late. As campers surrounded the situation he quickly said that he would gladly accept a ban if for no other reason as to come back to the opening of the camp and laugh "I told you so" as they realize months later, after more attacks have been perpetrated and more people injured, that the crazy bard was actually correct.

Oreth spreads the word that the traitor, Vance, has also been banned from Jiyyd, and that a certain magistrate of Peltarch is howling for his blood. He takes pleasure in observing that it will only be a matter of time before there is no rest and no safe haven for the man who struck out at the Gali
After all…where's he going to sleep when he finally gets banned from Norwick, too? In the Rawlins? Or the woods east of Jiyyd?
Oreth grins at this, and runs his fingertip along his scimitar blade
Not if he had been planning on waking up, afterwards…

_On bright sunny days, Magpie is often seen either in the spider pass or an open bit of the Nars. For company, she has a large raven whose only speech seems to be a raucous mimicked cry of 'Silly bird!', and a battered-looking book. After much work, incantation and swearing she returns to the camp in grim mood, often with burned fingers.
It seems that her studies of the Weave are not as fruitful as she'd like._

After hearing tale of the familiar man… Arandor mentions his own dealings with him.
"He showed nothing but complete disregard for our traditions, and told me himself he didn't care about them. He disrespected me despite my patience, and I asked him to leave… And now he has drawn blade against the Gali?!"
Anger is clear in his eyes, though he calms somewhat before speaking again.
"He has been given his chance and it is clear he wishes to make himself an enemy… I am sorry Penny, that this had to happen... You've done well, and you have my thanks."
((OOC: Think it's safe to assume that the pc 'Vance Aseph' should be considered an enemy of the camp, and would be shot on sight by the gypsy npc's. As always, DM permission is needed for any PK  ))

Penny can be seen sitting near the fire with a scowl on her face, picking dried blood off the sleeves of her new gown. If asked, the Romani tell of her dragging a young man named Vance off toward the pass by his throat after she witnessed him tossing an unknown corpse onto the main fire by the cooking meat to burn, releasing a foul, rotting smell. Witnesses say a young woman named Amalia helped Penny, and she was followed by Gears, Storn, and Sul'lina ((my apologies if I've forgotten others who were there)). _Once near the passage to the Nars, Vance pulled a blade which he held to Penny's throat. Throughout the incident, Penny's eyes glowed bright crimson, and she spoke intermittently in Draconic, then in strained common full of hisses and throaty growls. After emitting a deafening roar that knocked all but Vance to their knees, Penny drew her blade on him and was subsequently knocked unconscious after several blows from his greatsword. In response, the witnesses, including the Romani, charged Vance, some of their blows and arrows hitting Penny as she lay face down in her own blood.
Following the incident, and after the Romani and Gali calmed down, Storn healed Penny's blood covered face as Vance finally left the camp with a vulgar gesture to those huddled around Penny. Those around say Penny was furiously angry at the defiling of the camp's common area, where all gather to eat and be merry, and describe her fury as seemingly_ "coming out of nowhere."

Tarrick is seen at the fires more often, but never in his plate armor. He only takes a weapon when he leaves to hunt for food. He prays often, and when not praying, sits quietly listening to the other conversations.

Devath, one of two Heyokarr Narsmen living the camp, has been seen spending most of his time in and around one of the solitary tents in the camp, the one were Hedia now lies. He doesn't seem quite the same after Hedia had a miscarriage, and those who watch him go about can't help wondering what will happen with the two now.
