Born on the nearly perpetually rainy on island of Llamedos which is out in the trackless sea, very few know of its location. Those few that do know it to be a place where it is rare for not to be raining and to be mostly forest land.
Miea Underling is the third child of seven and the only daughter of Tisha Underling a retired traveller and Queen of Llamedos. Miea loves rain, animals and books. One day while running around in the woods she found a hawk with a crook wing, she took it to her mother to get it fixed and she was taken by her mother to see the islands caretaker a dryad druid. Miea stayed with the dryad and helped nurse the hawk back to health, with she named Hrut. After seeing Miea’s love for animals and nature the dryad started to teach her the ways of the druid. After about five years Miea decided to leave the island to see the world like her mother once did. After saying goodbye to her family and teacher she got on a boat to the mainland arriving with nothing but the clothes on her back her animal companion Hrut, and a large tome that her mother gave her. Wanderlust drove Miea to travel far and all over the place after a little over five years she ended up in Jiyyd. Not long after Hrut left her to settle down with a lady hawk, Miea spent most of her time in the woodlands northwest of Jiyyd where she found a wolf runt being attack by some of its own kind. She drove them off and began to care for the wolf, which treated her with distrust at first. But after a lot of tender loving care it became her loyal steadfast defender and friend. She calls him Zeff meaning ‘noble wolf’ and he has grown to be stronger then his peers and can be seen following Miea everywhere although it’s not always apparent that he is there.
