    Uphold the laws of Peltarch, patrol the streets, docks and fine and report disturbers of the peace. As one of the most important branches, guards is what makes it safe for the citizens to do their daily business. Be one of the men and women with the important job of fining and arresting criminals and bringing their case before the magistrate.

    Potential for promotion.

    The defenders are the military of the city. With the kobolds and giants to the north, lizards to the south, and bandits and pirates working the lakes and roads surrounding the city, they have the important task of wandering in to the wilderness and defending the city against large scale attacks. Defenders run investigations and scouting trips around and beyond the Peltarch borders.
