Rumor has it that a wandering elf stumbled into town quite charred and hurt mumbling about fixing some tainted earth by the sisters.

_Oreth, something of a scarce sight these days, is seen with a great degree of frequency outside the sisterhood house. Unlike the other hangers-about, however, he seems to have no interest in guarding it or fraternizing with the sisters, and mostly ignores all but the most cursory of interactions with them. Instead, he seems to be studying the patch of dead, bubbling grass. Collecting bits of the bubbling fluid and blades of dead grass in vials, casting cure spells on individual weeds, testing plant growth spells on the area, and so forth.
Regardless of whether the dead ground is responding, the areas of still-living growth seem to be getting quite unruly and overgrown in response to his prodding._

Rico Swift is frequently seen coming back into town from nearly every direction, battered, and bruised. Sometimes he comes back leading others who appear almost entirely unharmed, sometimes not.

Rumors about the town are flying about Jerr and his wife. Witnesses say that she was outside the sisterhood with an axe covered in his blood as he stood before her wearing nothing or next to nothing other than a layer of his own blood.
People who have been in the sisterhood house confirm that he is sleeping on the couches of the outer room rather than in his own bed.
A farmer who sometime trades with the Featherflights says that a lot of the women there are asking for new cloth to make skirts to look their best so Jerr might pick them as his next wife.
Jerr himself seems even more skittish than usual when undead are mentioned.

24 hours after Nyda's Hallowing the site began to issue a foul black smoke and the ground began to bubble up some sort of black oily substance killing the grass in a five foot radius.

Nyda spent 24 hours performing a ritual of Hallowing on the site of the destruction to purify it and prevent undead from rising there. Several people have also approached her recently since it seems she has cure at least one very advanced case of the ghoul fever without having to resort to killing and raising the victim..

Rumors spread that an artifact that many believed to be the Orb of Mykrul was destroyed, outside the Sisterhood by Nyda using Selunes blessing, after a long battle with a variety of undead. Some wonder with the supposed orb gone if the attacks will stop, though many still whisper it was obviously not the orb or the creatures would have done more to stop its destruction.

_A very sizable group of adventuring folks gathers at the west gate of Jiyyd, sallying forth in some mission in connection to the persons the priest Raryldor and the druid Fadia.
The group includes good friends of both of these persons, and looks of grave concern seem to be the common countenance among them.
The people return to town in small groups singly and in pairs days later, looking tired, without thier friends._

A farmer has died….and rumors spread that it might be a devil...biggest rumors say there was a portal near the bats cave were they spawned....poeple asks for caution

Throughout the remaining tenday, A lone figure can be seen keeping watch on the tower during the night, only really disappearing to get a few hours rest before returning again, the feminine figure appears heavily armed and isn't really responsive to passersby, seeming tense and in some cases, exhausted.

Rumours start to spread through Jiyyd after the previous tenday that a gathering of groups has started to discuss the threat posed by 'the people' in an effort to share and solidify what is known. Nothing solid has been worked out yet, although the rumours are still floating about the pub at night. Perhaps the farmers had too much ale?

Fedar Arly is frequently observed training with a shortsword around Jiyyd.

Rumor has it that under the supervision of Olivia , Mavado , has been in training and discussing things such as combat forms and training methods .Mavado also stayed into the late hours training until runners had came from Norwick

Those who had noticed a young halberdsman guarding the Sisterhood over the past few months now notice that he no longer stands guard there. Rumor is that he spends much his time in the docks of Peltarch. He is occasionally seen passing through Jiyyd to assist with farm labor east of town and to hunt the deer which reside there, on such occasions he is not seen to carry his halberd.

A familiar face (to a few) is observed within town. Fedar Arly has returned, yet he appears to not have recognized his few (to none) friends within the area.

Shannon D'Arneau walks into town one day noting that the earth elemental in the mines has been taken care of, though explorers should still beware the bear which likes to make its den there. He also notes that he's seen no Duergar there.

By the light of day, women of the Sisterhood, and many of their family and friends, are seen leading the children that had been staying at the Legion hall for their protection, out of town. Not only did they leave Jiyyd, they went right on past the Sisterhood and were last seen heading towards Norwick. Rumors spread that Head Priestess Rith had invited the children to stay at the Shrine of the Dawn until the undead threat is curbed.
