Whispers at the Fire
-
The morning after Aramuil's party, Militiaman Davos is seen strutting out of the Grapevine Inn with a smug look on his face. Rumour has it that he exited the housewarming party early, reeking of alcohol. One thing is for sure: the morning has brought a spring to the surly guardsman's step.
-
_Early one morning, the Exiled Elf Brendel strides into town. Over one shoulder is slumped the body of some adventurer.
When asked he explains he found the poor souls remains while on patrol in the ruins. He stays in town long enough to make sure the body gets a proper burial, then leaves once more._
-
The very quiet and shy Elf lass Rynn came SCREAMING into town late one night. It seems she ran into a snarling Werewolf outside the gates. Tales say she spent the next few nights hiding in the Temple.
-
There are mentions of two incidents involving "living dolls", apparently made of wood, but bearing eerie resemblance to normal children, at the south gates. They accost certain people, and seem to be equally dangerous after being struck down as doing mischief while alive.
-
The wandering archer known as Aurelia, has been seen roaming about the Norwick area. She seems to have returned to the region after almost thirty years of travels. Being unfamiliar with any changes in the local politics or demographics she seems to be content in staying on well traveled roads and keeping to civilized areas while she regains her bearings.
-
Apparently there are now two Adriells roaming around south of Norwick. Both have been found curled up in the ugly Troff Legions arms, one at a time or together. Lucky bastard.
-
rumor has it that quite the confrontation happened south of Norwick. Involving accusations against the druid Jerrick about a murder of a lady's husband by his hand. It is also said that the lady was met with great hostility from the majority of those present that is said to be quite large in number, to the point of willing to slay her where she stood even when she was alone.
-
Brendel, having come back South for a "short breather from all the fun". Heard of the excitement involving Eli, and spent a quiet moment sending a prayer to Illmater; and Wish of luck out into the night for her.

@defd4c14e9=KT:
A blonde elf commonly known as Eli was seen being yelled at by the Militia Colonel, then being taken to the barracks.
A few hours later, shouted protests and screams from the elf could be heard from inside the barracks not to have stopped for at least half an hour.
Albryanna was seen taking both Eli and Thorn to the barracks. Neither have stepped out since, not even after the Eli protests had died down.

A new face has been seen about Norwick the last tenday, mostly around the fire making small talk, during the evenings he ravenous attempts at whooing the farmers daughters do not go un-noticed. Its said that the man is a fine duelist, who has travelled far to reach these parts. With his large feathered hat he is hard to miss, and often seems in a cheery mood.
-
Benji spreads word that some 'vampire guy' named 'Harry' had word for some folks about how he won't be bothering Norwick anymore … or something.
Benji shows anyone who asks a note he wrote at Harry's request.
@62f58cb6d8:
To those I met at the gate,
Thanks to Thorn and Noah I will not visit my hunger upon your villagers in the night.
Hugs and Kisses,
Harvey

Jerrick, after rumor of him being camputed once again, this time by the the Mad God's Cultists, was seen back in town shortly after, apparently having survived the ordeal.
He hasn't been back since since however, until today, wandering back in town looking tired, but fairly content.
-
_The Elf Brendel, who had become a permanent fixture at the Southgate after his exhile, has been suspiciously absent these past days.
Rumour has it he has taken a trip to Peltarch, to do some work for the Order of the White Aegis, leaving behind his trusty companion, Bob, the Skull._
-
Word spreads that the man known as Kayden was seen socializing with a demon and, remarkably, Death himself, just outside the southern-most gates. There was mention of a battle coming…
-
There seems to be some talk about a prince of lies, and a spanking taking place - it's said that the usually so very demure Gina used her greatsword to simply slap someone to the ground. Whatever her motivations, her actions seem to have spurned some more fighting taking place - and as it turned out, it seems just as likely it was merely adventurers showing off their prowess - even outside of the fight night.
-
The Chancellor is seen walking with Albryanna east of the town, near the hills that overlook the port. Their mood seems to be one of peace and happiness as they look at different areas. He finally takes out a small dagger and strikes it deep in the ground, in a fashion that looks somewhat ceremonial.
Removing the dagger, he hands it to Albryanna blade first and they head back to the Great Hall.
-
A small, dog-sized red dragon or wyrmling is once again seen resting under a large tree by the fire. However, rather than sleeping on miscellaneous items and scattered semi-precious gems, it plops itself on the grass, appearing rather unsettled and discontent. When approached by the guard, it appears frightened, and easily shooed away.
Coincidentally, the nymph Myrrha is also seen flitting about town, cavorting with the locals, and making flowers grow in children’s hair. She is often seen in the mornings standing on the cliff without a stitch of clothing on, arms and fingers spread, catching the sun’s rays
Rumor has it that these two creatures are somehow one in the same. Why would some forest spirit take up residence in Norwick now? The last time one similar was seen, was just prior to the blight and the war with N’Jast.
-
A few of the folks at the fire have been talking about an elf in golden plate and a pure white cloak dragging a near unconscious man to the guards, speaking briefly with the Timmot, and then healing the bloodied man up a bit before leaving him to the guardsmen.

In one day, bit before the dusk, a group of many adventurers lead by gnomish knight Volmari Turskanpuolikas head into Rawlinswood in good spirit, apparently prepared to smite down some evil creatures.
Most of them arrive back on dawn, some seriously wounded, nearly unconsicious. However the gnome himself is missing. Bit later he arrives to town alone, barely capable to carry his equipment; all pale and sweaty. He stops to lean the wall and take deep breath and try to lighten the mood by declaring it to be good trip as everyone survived. He moves by the wall near the fire and almost collapses town.
Bit later, a priest who travelled in same party earlier, comes to him and casts healing magic onto him. This causes an outburst in this pale and weary gnome who states that evil souls such as that man should not come even close to him, even less heal him with foul powers granted by their dark gods. As discussion goes on, gnome also makes it clear that the man is follower of the Bane and will be watched by him for any foul deeds he might be doing.
Little bit later, Hammerhand is seen supporting Volmari to walk to the apotechary to recover from the trip. Rumors start spreading of the vampire bitemark seen on the neck of the gnome.
