Whispers at the Fire

Lana is telling folks about being captured by some sort of undead sailor. Gemli seems to be backing her up on this. She says that Sabre and Pavel seem to think that it might be part of some treasure ship buried deep beneath the town.
On an unrelated note, Selene is having a hard time keeping shovels in stock and the local churches seem a bit short on holy water.

_Harmony could be seen intructing idle workers in Norwick, to assist her in moving the stoned militiamen in the Friar's to be transported to the Spellweaver Keep.
Those complied immediately place the four statues into a wagon and carefully proceed to roll them to the Spellweaver's doorstep with Master Bingo greeting them.
A day later, four militia men can be seen walking out of the Spellweaver back in flesh form, looking bemused as they return to their respective duties.
Curiously though, each of them has words marked upon the top of their forehead which reads if all of them properly aligned:_
**"I!"
"LOVE!"
"LUCID!"
"FOREVER!"**
_Apparently, when they were in forms of statues, someone had been playing cruel practical jokes, or simply expressing their love for the former Chancellor by carving those words on their head which, unfortunately seems it is not removable for life.
The reputation of the four shot over night, and are now known as the famous four in the militia, victims of the "Lucid jokes" for the time to come in Norwick._

Fendon approaches the center of the new town center and stands on one of the large boulders that people have become accustomed to sitting on. he slowly unrolls a scroll and clears his throat in the annoying way he tends to before making an important announcement.
Hear Ye, Fine Citizens of the Realm!
By the order of his Honor, Lord Dolvak, I make the following announcement…
The following criminals are hereby banned from the Realm of Norwick:
The Banite and Highway-Robber Zanetar
The Vile Cut-throat and Black Sail member Mercy
The Shrewd Follower of No-good, and Fellow Black Sail, known only as HawkShould anyone witness one of these 3 within our realm that stretches from the verdant forests of the Rawlins to the icy crossroads in the north, please contact a local Militiaman immediately. Do not attempt to interact with them directly, as they have reduced themselves to be common criminals, and possibly dangerous.
Fendon rolls up the scroll he read from, and hands out several more to guards who take them out and post them at each of the gates and in several key locations within the realm.

Rumour has it that a bow dropped out off the air infront of Cherry, Cera's granddaughter, with her name carved into it. Some people insist that it burst into flame and killed everyone present, but popular opinion seems to be that she took it.

_Word spread that the dwarf Farly Toebuckle came strolling up to the fire. While this in itself was not odd, what he had attached to the end of the rope in his hand was. Farly lead a twisted goblin into town, and asked for Harmony. The details of the actual capture of the goblin are speculative, but some are saying something about the dwarf digging a pit trap that the creature fell into.
One thing is certain, though; The goblin was lead off by Norwick officials and taken to a cell, while the dwarf was rewarded handsomely._

Word passes on across Norwick, that a Norwick Scout by the name of Fredericks informed the militia of the administration of a curious news:
"Fogs nay been aroun' in the night for weeks ay' tell ye. One moment 'dey POOFED from now'ehere, next momen' it turn tail an' disappeared to now'ehere!
Som'thin fishey ay' tell ye. Makes no sense but again dis be Norwick. Nuthin' makes sense eh?
Pass da word on to the big boss of Norwick fellas."

Recently near Norwick, just outside the gates in fact, a dark clad figure bearing a bow walked the perimiter of the town in the dead of night, not hunting anything in particular, but observing much.
This is a face that was known around Norwick to some, and even a song is sung about him, possibly still to this day.IS this half-elf of rumor returning to Norwick after dissapearing without a trace? And where is the wolf that was always at his side?
Villagers who say they knew him swear they saw him, but it is likely no others did. They will likely be discounted as drunken tales of a nearly forgotten accquaintance.
-
Juster is seen asking around for Tindra. He doesn't take the time to explain himself but he looks kinda worried.
-
Some residents of the town have a few choice words to say about certain stuffy mage who recently dominated the campfire in new Norwick with a lesson (or sermon) about Azuthan dogma. The only person who actually sat through the whole lesson was ex-Banite Ezachiel Werner – everyone else was able to find an excuse to get as far away as possible.

_The town of Norwick watches a large and organized group of Legion soldiers pass stoically through the town toward the south one afternoon. General's Lyte and Theaon lead the troupe to a substantial caravan of wagons lined up facing southeastward out of old Norwick.
Joined by Norwick militia, they head off into the unknown, with the appearance of careful organization and assigned defenders to individual wagons.
Some bets are made between citizens about how many fatalities will occur and whether they will lose as many woodcutters as they gain logs, but low and behold, days later, they return from the dangerous wilds, wagons brimming with wood, and everyone intact and well.
Woodcutters tells of bugbears, spiders and many bandits dispatched, a narrow and slippery stone bridge, and how Norwick's finest and the blue and black legion escort worked ably together with great precision to ensure no woodcutter or wagons were damaged.
The mood around the campfire seems a bit lighter and hopeful, and the wood seems strong. It's a good day for Norwick._
-
_Moments of panic was experienced in Norwick, when the entire town was alerted, of the possible undead attacks upon the new Norwick grounds.
With Elyl, the only militia active at that time, leading a small modest group that consists of Aramuil, Hirbag and Harmony, one to prepare the possible continuing attacks.
However, a Norwick commoner witnessed that the group was greeted by a spirit instead, one that takes a form of a skeleton. With cryptic gesture it made, it succeeded in luring the group to southwards, to the ruined former Norwick.
It is nights later, then the group are seen returning into town with pensive expressions on each of them. One can only wonder, what had happened when they disappeared south and learnt of something that they returned with such expression._

Due to the Chancellor's upsetness with certain conditions made, in the matters of the job given to the Legions, Fendon informs all the militia and scouts of Norwick who had signed up, to expect for any last minute changes of their role to play in the expedition.
-
…at this last point, Dwin raises his brows and summons his senior advisors to his office in a not-so-happy way.
-
_Fendon lets it known to all those interested or already signed up for the wood harvesting expedition, that the expedition will be on xx-xx-xx (This Saturday, 9pm EST).
He also lets it be known to those who signed up to provide martial expertise, that the entire escort operation is the Legion's responsibility. This would mean that in matters of security, all must adhere to the Legion's instructions and orders. They are also free to turn down the aide of certain groups or individuals whom they may deem them as unreliable. With that point agreed upon, then can these people participate in the expedition.
For those with further inquiries, Fendon propose them to submit to the Secretary of Norwick for clarifications._
//PM me if you have questions or need clarifications.

The young Albryanna has likewise sent a letter to Harmony, informing her that she will lend her aid as a guardsman and a woodcutter, should it be required.
-
Calendel has sent a letter to Harmony indicating that he will assist in the wood gathering as a volunteer. His efforts to both cut and haul wood will be of no cost to the town or it's people. He will perform this as both a servant of the people of Norwick as well as a member of the Troff Legion offering their services.
Rumor has it the people of Norwick upon hearing that Calendel will be a part of the expedition sign up their strongest sons to join in. "It's not everyday your eldest son gets to walk alongside the mighty Advisor for the good of our town" one was overheard saying.
-
_The Secretary of Norwick of this recent, had been persuading and rounding up capable and sturdy men of Norwick, whom they may be idle from the lack of work or were former woodcutters before the war.
She informs them, with a hint of optimism in her tone and choice of words, that despite the difficult road Norwick will still be facing for the years to come, it will return to its former richness and wealth if all are willing to work, one that Norwick is prepared to employ to the present unemployed.
Those who expressed interests, she urged them to report to Fendon to sign up for work, which involves harvesting lumberin the Rawlins. These people were given assurances, that they would be fairly paid with bonuses in consideration, as well as one of the best reputable security they will receive while venturing into the dangerous woods.
With that, she gives words of motivations as best as she could to those who sign up, as well as words of humble gratitude on behalf of Norwick._
"Let us strive for Norwick to grow. The soil may be poisoned where our town be planted upon, but the ample sunlight and rain the heavens gives in generous quantity upon us, we can still grow into a strong and wealthy town nontheless.
Endure I ask, in enduring we will all grow strong. The saying that had echoed throughout the ancient times itself, had been proven to be one of a wisdom kind it reflects.
Let us do this together, with the strength each of us can give, that will make a difference to the future generations of Norwick!"

The generals of the legion were seen escorted in and out of Norwick by the Secretary Harmony. Pleasentries were exchanged and the one known as lyte had papers with a norwick seal on them heading out the gate….
-
word of sighting of Ugluk Rumgut the foul orc and self-proclaimed leader of numerous orc attack to jyiid lands, have been reported in norwick. what business brought such savage and user of foul vocabulary to norwick is yet unknown… But some citizens that have had the displesure of talking with him, would say that he wnated to know the direction of norwicks graveyard

_The dwarf Farly Toebuckle can be heard muttering in Dwarven lately. He openly speaks of his distaste for the Kelemvorite Temple and its members, especially the "Wench" Mel, whose condecending and greater-than-thou attitude sets the dwarf to muttering in Dwarven even more.
On a similar note, he often askes how the Kelemvorite Temple came to be owners of all things, such as the Graveyard and items that other people found._
