Cera's tree blocked off.

  • Cera's tree has been barred shut, and a lone saurial paladin stands guard. None are let in, and none are let out. Three times a day food and supplies are brought and slipped inside. Along with notes from outsiders for communication.

But nothing leaves. No notes, no items, nothing. Anything needed by those inside is whispered to the paladin and he sees it is done.

  • Those investigating the situation more thoroughly and talking to a number of witnesses will uncover the following:

    • A great deal of commotion ensued when the veiled woman known as "Seer" was accused of hiding a toe bone, in order to prevent the curse victims from gathering all of the bones.

    • Later, the necromancer's advice led to the re-consecration of the entire camp as a precaution against what might happen when the lich's bones were gathered together in one place.

    • The missing toe bone was found, and following a great deal of commotion, the bones were carried out of the camp in a large procession, the curse victims carrying most of the bones, and Lilin carrying the missing toe bone, at a good distance. They were brought to the temple of Kelemvor and reassembled without further incident.

    • More meticulous fact-checkers will find out that the necromancer is widely believed to be a horrible person, and that the blue bard wasn't actually in the camp for most of the discussions.

  • Other rumors spread that the information the wizard gave was inconsequentially, and was hyped to increase his status in the land. Whether the necromancer played a pivotal roll, or one of mere inconsequence, is a matter of debate around the land.

  • Rumour has it that the wizard Ezachiel, hated by many, played a part of some importance in the curing of the cursed…even though at one point, he was kicked out of the camp altogether, his research was crucial in the end.

  • A weary Tala returns to the camp from the Temple to Kelemvor.

Well the bones were put together and the curse lifted. It appears all is well now. I for one am just glad I can stop cooking, baking and making teas. It will take me months to replinsh my tea making stocks and all my precious spices.

grumbles and grouses but really does not appear to be upset a good deal more like someone who just likes to grumble and appear cantankerous.

  • :.Jockser, Ginger's uncle can be heard playing for those cursed that dare to stay outside the tree. He always plays soft slow songs, trying to make them feel peace and calm…::

  • A Helmite soldier comes into the Camp and leaves a message with the Gypsy Guards:

Sigmund would appreciate it if Genzir would see him at his earliest convenience.

  • ::Gonnar hears the news, concerned about the problem heads into the hobgoblins caves and the cold caves in search of the cure, He can be seen trying to gather information about how or where did they get diseased::

  • A tin containing some malformed cookies and a couple of splodgy paintings is thrown to land against the tree door. Stuck to the lid is a letter of love and support from Jen to her husband.

  • _The list of cursed has been increased, due to one of the cursed who refused to go back into the tree and had to be subdued. This was before the gypsies set up a heavy guard. The list thus far is:

Shannon, Maya, Natanya, Vellcam, Talgris, Steelfin, Locrian, Lilly, Serenity, Mina, William, and Aelthas._

  • _After the Day's events with yet another debacle surrounding the infected ones in the camp, the Rom have taken a harsh stance on the curse and those infected. All during the day, a barricade is established around the tree, while archers assemble with odd looking tipped arrows.

It is clear to all that the Rom have stopped playing and it is made perfectly clear that anyone, gali or gaij will be shot at and killed if they approach and try to enter the tree. Those who stay at a reasonable distance are still permited to talk with those within, although they are watched like a hawk.

The Rom stand ready with bows nocked._

  • A request can be heard being yelled through the door, along with the sound of someone banging against the door with their fists. The voice is easily recognizable as Aelthas' and he doesnt sound to happy.

    Get me a training dummy!

  • tala takes the makings of tea to the library in Oscura. Muttering as she gathers some thing

I met the librarian once. Maybe he will remember my tea.

  • Jerr listens to the news coming out and heads for the College in Pelt to check histories and songs of that time.

  • A note is passed out from the tree

_Jeni and Cera still not cursed.

Lily and Serenity are not too bad yet. The rest of us are worse. Not sure how much time we have.

Having a lucid moment, need to get down what we know while we still can, so a cure can be found before it is too late.

Can't let us out of the tree again. Too much danger to those not cursed. Others not cursed will need to continue this.

We will pass this around for those inside the tree to add what they know - maybe those outside can make sense of it.

Curse is the Death Curse of the lich Mal'sheeron, supposedly destroyed 1000 years ago.

Destroyed by who, we don't know - some sources say Tormites, some Tormites and Tyrrans, some Helmites, some Mystrans, and some druids - none of the sources make any mention of the other groups being involved. Like the stories are all completely different.

A Helmite knight was said to have carried out the bones - we don't know what he did with them after, and Sigmund never addressed that, even after being told of it several times. Need to pin Sigmund down on this. Bones may be in Helmite catacombs. Hoping bones are key to cure.

Mystrans and druids need to be asked, and records checked if any exist.

Found head and hand in cold caves - don't know if they are part of lich or not.

    Talk to bads too

Oscuran linry neds chekng - ask larps

    tired cant thnk anymore_

the first set of handwriting on the note ends here

  • Star shrugs at the foolishness "S-seer told ans-swer w-was in P-pass not in c-caves. W-went b-back anyw-way. S-star will k-keep look in p-pass and H-hob-gobl-lin c-caves"

  • The Cursed ones are back in their lair, with two new members from the rescue group in the Cold Caves.
The original group looks beaten, frost bitten, sick, some barely able to carry themselves upright.
One dead is carried between them,
a look of desperation and dispair in all their faces.

Hints and clues are laid out, there is something more to seek…

    but what?
    and where?

  • The Seer was seen approaching the tree. She spoke with Genzir and was see heading into the pass with her recently aquired HalfOrc Muscle. Some say they heard her speak of the Under library.

  • ((It would be lovely if something could be posted on the Gali Elder Forums as to what is going on atm))

  • He gladly accepts any help, But stays within eyesight of the tree, even sleeps right beside it.
