A call went out for warriors of strength and courage; bounty hunters summoned to Norwick's cause by the Chancellor.
Amidst passing word that Norwick needed woodstuffs to battle a harsh winter, there was talk of a felon that served the One Who Defiled who had returned despite his banishment into the deepest Rawlinswood. As a flower draws the bee, the renegade necromancer broke the wards on one of Norwick's ancient mausoleums and laired himself within, calling on the dead to guard him while he prepared some foul machinations.
A number of travellers arrived at Norwick's gate and met the armored, red-skinned chancellor. Before long they marched into the graveyard and …

The Group of Broghan, Wog, Lil, Shae, and Mel started toward the Norwick graveyard only to stop again because of shuffling noise behind the gates, and a trap too. Thankfully, a hin who could disarm the traps wandered by and disarmed the one protecting the gate. As it was opened the party was ambused by Shadow Mastiffs and Various Undead.
They entered and quickly cleared the first level with little difficulty, before resting and proceding to the second. Myth, the hin, mysteriously disapeered as they were resting, but, since Wog had been gaurding the stairs, they assumed he had left to go find some young hin lasses to befriend.
As the smaller group traveled through the bottom floor, they encountered more undead and Mastiffs before arriving at a sort of throne room. As the examined the room a vile, disgusting, bone creature crept out from behind the throne and began furiously launching bolts of negative energy at the group. Lilin fired a few arrows at the beast but they simply bounced off his bony exterior.
Then suddenly as no "prey" was in its visible range the Devourer charged down the stairs at full speed and attacked Wog, killing him quickly. Mel and Broghan charged the four legged monster and swung at him furiously. Lil, not realizing that healing spells would harm the beast fired arrows ineffectively at until Mel shouted out to heal him. Without question Lilin moved in and began casting as many blessings of healing on the beast as quickly as she could wounding it badly by the time she had worn out. Thankfully this burst of divine power was enough to end its damage resistance and Mel was able to finish the monster with her sword.
Then, the necromancer presented herself. Lil was badly wounded and stood and gathered Wog's things, not realizing Melanie had charged and had begun attacking the necromancer. Lil finished gathering Wog's things and caught a glimpse of a light coming around the throne. The stone covered necromancer was being chased by Melanie who not able to gain nor fall behind the one she was persuing. Lilin quickly pulled out her Longbow and began firing off a shot every time Mel chased her around the throne until she fell.
The battered group marched out of the crypt without incident and used the reward money to ressurect the fallen Wog. ((Touching I know.))
