    Life was never a simple thing for Dagath ..he was conscripted at an early age into the amish army defending esmalteran against foes … the son of a swordsmith he use to practice with the longsword ...stealing a sword every now and then behind his fathers back ...and practicing with a few of his friends in the allyways.
    The life of a solider however was not his calling ...for another destiny lay ahead for him .. one day when he was in shadowdale ..he met a dark robed figure sitting a the back of an inn ... curiosity of dark natured things and the ways of a powerfull god had allways intrigued him ... he had allways lusted for power ..and this was what the dark figure used to his advantage ..hiring him first as a mercenary into a fighting unit known as the company of the ebon spur ... he fought many battles and become more and more powerfull to the point where the high priest jabbar brought him into clergy sensing his path was that of spirituality and would serve his lord better as such ..... The Dark Lord taught him many things ...much knowledge ...and this knowledge he used increase his plans and ambitions as did all of the company .
    Then one fatefull day when an assult was made on candle keep ... the company was broken as they fought with each other ... the power of their deity confused and turned friend against friend ... for the legacy of the cyrinshard indured and was the breaking the church that one fatefull day ... but not all perished some survived and spread out accross the lands ... Dagath being one of them ...as he searched the lands ..he came upon the lands of narfell ...and before entering buried the sword of jabbar and his armour ...being at his side when haruan and jabbar the two dark lords of cyric fought in an epic struggle ...vowing to continue his masters work and restablish an order somewhere within the lands.
    As it turned out ..he stumbled upon a small village ... where our story begins ...
