Elven band give warning

Several days ago, a small band of elves was seen walking through town headed into the Rawlinswood. They later returned, covered in the blood and gore of a hundred goblins. Finding nobody in the Town Hall, they passed word to a guard that they had found extremely large numbers of goblins gathered in the eastern Rawlins. Far more so than usual, including three umberhulks. They themselves slew well over a hundred of the creatures, but were still driven back slowly towards town.
A couple of days later, some of that same group were seen helping drive back a goblin and undead assault at the Southern gate. One of their number was slain in the battle, although she was later witnessed walking again, albiet appearing somewhat weaker and tired.
