Born in Menzobaranzan into house Dy'nei, Elyl was the second son of his family. Pushed down by his sisters, and unable to be the weapon master he served as a common soldier. At the age of twenty, House Dy'nei was crushed by a rival house. Elyl survived and escaped the attacking family only to be recruited by Jarlaxle, the leader of Breagan D'earthe, a mercenary band. Serving there as a low level soldier, theif, scout, and assasin he learned his trade. A dealer of death and a procurer of purse, he lived in the shadows. He served in Breagan D'earthe for about eighty five years. He served until the attack on Mithral Hall. During the attack he was cornered by a group of dwarves, and being at the back of the line he cut the backs of the knees of a few of the small band with him and pushed them at the dwarves. When the dwarves attacked he ducked into a crag and hid until they were gone. He then looted his "bretheren" and left. He was ordered to return to Menzobaranzan, but due to turmoil within the city over Matron Baenre's death he decided to travel to the surface. He was only on the surface for a few weeks when he became starved and lost the only food he found was a few small children that drifted too far away from home. The few raiding parties he had been on had not given him any experience in living on the surface although he did get experience in slaughtering helpless elves and humans. One day he became desperate and attacked some passers by on a road. He leapt out of hiding and struck but he was outnumbered. The people turned out to be bandits and theives and captured him so they could sell him as a slave. When their raiding party was attacked, a theif named Jord Longwagons released Elyl from the cage, and during the ensuing fight, Elyl and Jord both saved each other. Both being somehwat evil, they took a liking to each other. Elyl, developed a soft spot for Jord, and even would call him friend when Jord wasnt listening, although this was not until five years later. Since the attack on their party, Elyl and Jord have traveled many miles together. Both now looking for coin and to cause a little chaos. He takes special care in causing suffering in those weaker than him, which is anyone but drow, or Jord.

Is this PC a drow? In which case reviewing it is pointless as drow are not allowed on narfell.
