    The tale of how Laura Mortan came to narfell is not one of greatness or heroism, her life has had none of this as of yet. She was born in a small village at the age of 0, she grew up as a rebel in her town because she was the only one to have magical abilities. Growing up people were nice, but never friendly, she had few friends and no one was ever close to her. Her parents didn't know what to do so they sent her to a carnival to become Dirk Camilie's apprentice, she hated the idea. So she ran away, she hopped ships in the harbor and by chance got on a merchant ship headed to narfell, peltarch to be percise. She was a stowaway but wasn't cought until she tried to get off before the ship was docked, she managed to daze a couple of the sea fairer's guild members and get away. She ran away to Jiyyd and lives at the inn. Peltarch she fears is not a place she can go with out having to face some sort of punishment from the sea fairers. Her life of a commoner is slowing changing as she is now in a world which accepts her and wellcomes her powers.
