    Lady Kara Du'Monte

    When duty calls me I must go
    To stand and face another foe.
    But part of me will always stray
    Over the hills and far away.

    Updates - Having claimed the title of the Grand Marshall during the N'jast war, Kara was slain the allied groups of Narfell and their Celestial allies. She was confirmed to have died, though some suspect there might be more to the story.

    Titles : Lionar of the 1st Infantry Kadrath of the purple dragon knights, loyal subject of King Azoun VI and Knight of the Watchful Repose

    Home : Her true home lies in Northern Cormyr, along the mountain borders. When asked, she would be able to tell you of the exact date and time it's been since she's seen 'home'. More recently, she has taken up a room in Jiyyd, although she is rarely seen there, Preferring the halls of her order to reside in for the sheer amount of peace to be had there.

    Lore Specialization : Kara has long had a love for all things historical and old, to the point where she spent the best part of her youth reading. She loves books, and tends to have a wide area of knowledge when it comes to lore, although her specific area of expertise is ancient history and religion.

    Presence : An iron grip on her faith is readily apparant when any draw near to Kara. She exudes an air of confidence in her deity and his doctrines, along with a warm, welcoming smile. There is a sense of serenity surrounding her even in the heat of battle when chaos flies around.

    Height : Five foot, four inches

    Weight : 136lbs

    Age : Appears to be twenty seven

    Skin Tone : Her overall skin tone is fair. Of late, She has been seen to have a faint radiance about her, reckoned to be due to her continuing exposure to the divine.

    Skin Texture : Despite her occupation, her skin is soft and smooth

    Eyes : Piercing dark green eyes

    Hair : Her hair can be seen to be a long, firey red colour that reaches nearly to the smalls of her back, when it's let loose. Her hair is one of the few points of pride she takes in herself, keeping it well groomed and clean at all times.

    Voice : Her voice is pleasant enough to listen to. When she does sing, which seems to have happened of late with a fair bit of success, her voice is usually soft and the words sung usually in elvish.

    Accent : Her accent is quite clearly Cormyrean

    Recognizable Features : Her mane of red hair, and the armour she wears more often than not, stand out in a crowd. If seen without something covering her left shoulder, there is a fine scar running along her shoulder, as if something had pierced the skin, and went straight through.

    Commonly spoken languages : Among Common, she has learned Elvish and Chondathan, as well as Celestial from her time spent in the Crystal Spires, even if this is a fact she cannot remember. She has been looking to learn Draconic, and eventually it's defunct offshoot, Aragrahk.

    Equipment Worn : When in armour, she favours the colours of the order of the divine shield , featuring a shining golden and and dark blue metal breastplate, with tailored wrapped arm guards, sporting emblazoned silver dragons on each guard. When fully ready for combat, she dons a helm of similar colour, Bright gold and navy as well as a steel tower shield.

    When she does go without, she prefers to remain properly covered by her clothes, and not bear all for a crowd. She prefers to keep things simple and as such, favours simple colours, such as black and most notibly dark blue.

    Equipment Carried : Along with her handy haversack on her back and the four other pouches it carries, she also keeps a scroll case on hand to preserve any scrolls she may happen across. She usually keeps comfortable boots, and a plain woolen cloak clasped on to her armour, or simply when travelling. Always seen at her side, save for when relaxing is a black leather scabbard, bearing her blade 'Fluffy'

    Left Handed or Right Handed : Right handed

    Jewelry or Decorations : She has only two pieces of Jewelery she is regularly seen with, the first : The golden symbol of Kelemvor resting on a plain looking nickle chain and the gold ring she was given by Juno, otherwise she bears no trappings of wealthy life.

    Relatives : The only relatives she is aware of, that are still alive is an old elven couple living outside of Beregost on the sword coast who had taken up the mantle of guardians for the young child. Both of her parents had died during the Orc invasions of Cormyr early on, being one of the first fiefs in their path. She searches on to this day, for traces of her lineage and much to her chargrin…can find nothing.

    Body Build : Built to wear plate for hours upon hours, her figure has been shaped accordingly through years of training, and toned to the point of excellent physical shape. Due to this, her bust is rounded and not overly large. All in all, she is at the peak of her physical fitness.

    Official Positions : Knight of the Order of the Purple Dragon and Lionar in the Royal Cormyrean armed forces (retired), Paragon of the Order of the Divine shield and Knight of the Watchful Repose

    Combat style : Kara has come to focus on deflecting blows that would normally strike a normal warrior instead of activly striking at opponents, leaving defeating the actual enemy to her comrades most of the time. When the time does come for full offensive tactics, she is prepared to lunge forward at a minute's notice from the stances.

    She is seen to abhor the use of a bow personally, keeping that it 'dishonours' herself although she has not enforced this on anyone else, admitting the place of the weapon in day to day life.

    STR 18 : It becomes readily noticable that she's trained for a good portion of her life to learn the arts of war, and be able to bear armour with ease, Compaired to most she is relativly strong, and able to lift a fair amount of weight before becoming weighed down.

    DEX 12 : Her balance and hand-eye coordination is overall average, she can dance with a fair amount of skill, although she'll rarely admit it.

    CON 10 : The years of struggle and chaos have been taking their toll on Kara, she appears to be frail compared to what she once was. She is less able to weather blows and her stamina isn't what it once used to be..although she is still quite capable in her own right.

    WIS 14 : She has been learning from her experiences gradually and learning not to make the same mistake twice. Her experiences are gradually teaching her to adapt as life throws it's worst

    INT 14 : Quite a bit more intelligent than your average warrior and paladin, she rarely acts without an informed opinion on matters that concern her. Smart enough to avoid common mistakes like 'lets charge the goblin into hostile bugbear lands!' and stepping forward when a trap is infront of her. Overall, she has a keen mind and is heavily interested in reading, and scholarly pursuits.

    CHA 18 : Steadfast in her faith to Kelemvor, she exudes an air of courage to those around her in times of need, helping to steady their hands when the need calls. Her skin appears to carry a warm, radiant glow with it
