Smoke from the North

For an entire day, thick broken plumes of smoke can be seen rising high into the air, coming from the loose direction of the Crossroads. The staggered pattern of the smoke would suggest an unnatural burn, perhaps even a signal of some kind.

Celad is met by Rasuil on the far west side of the crossroads. With a tone though friendly, would suggest his response has been delivered more than once that day, he replies only with:
"Thank you for your concern, everything is under control."
This response is given to any others seen searching in the area, and no further reply comes from the fatigued looking ranger.
