    Celes was born and raised in Peltarch, her father was a member of the Defenders and served in the N'Jast War. During her youth Celes had aspired to become nothing but a house wife, she often dreamed of courting a wealthy merchant or noble and living a life of luxury, however; the N'Jast war changed things.

    Her father was killed during the war, and that followed with the destruction of Jiyyd sent Celes on a new path. She began to study the edicts of Tempus, and with the compensation the city paid her family she traveled to Damara where there was a larger following of Clerics and Warpriests who could teach her of Tempus.

    She spent four years studying and learning the basics of war fighting and how it should be conducted in a favorable manor to appease Tempus. Now at Twenty years of age, Celes has returned home, with the goal of spreading the Dogma of Tempus, and preventing any further atrocities to occur in her homeland.
