character name: Bis AzarghainBis always enjoyed the woods more than was healthy for a dwarf. Eventually, his talents earned him a role as a scout for his Hold, a role that would save his life. After nearly thirty years of little to no danger to the Hold, it was attacked by a goblin tribe. In complacency the Dwarves had allowed the Hold to become their doom for it's defenses were wanting.
Bis' forrays into the forest allowed him to escape the doom of his clan though he would forever be shamed in his own mind for not being there when it happened. After wandering the forests killing goblins near his fallen home, his travels eventually brought him to Norwick. His time in the wilderness has affected him. His hair is often dirty with bits of twigs, dirt and food in it; he rarely bathes. His teeth are mostly rotten and his breath is considered good when the prodigious amount of garlic he eats overpowers the more natural aroma. He spits often, cleans his ears and nose with his fingers often and in public, and seems to care little what other people think.
He can often be heard singing songs about what he plans to do, especially to the 'gobbies' and how he plans to take all their loot. His off-key voice and horrible singing are almost charming, except for how much it grates on the ears. Some claim to be able to feel his deep, bellowing in their teeth. Still, Bis is a capable Dwarf, ready and willing to go into battle anytime and anywhere. He may be dirty, smelly, and crude, but his blades are always sharp.
