Caelian and the Scouts
-
Caelian walks up to Eli, while she practices her archery. Seeming very upset about something
Eli. Commander. I quit the scouts. I walked into the area of the headquarters, and saw quite a few people being rounded into the jail. I asked Guard Davos what was going on, and he told me to "Fark off". I said I was allowed to be in the area, and he beat me within an inch of my life… luckily a priestess healed me. I am not happy with the scouts, nor with what they stand for. The Laws of nature are far more important to me than the laws of humans or power... so I quit. Sorry. I am looking into another job as we speak... One that is better fitting for me.

After Caelian is finished with his little speach, Eli sighs and seems to get lost in thought…

Caelian, who is released from jail and looking solemn, walks up to Eli, who is sitting by the fire and still visibly upset about the situation Caelian has put himself into. He begins to tell her why he quit the scouts, and why he is doing the things he is doing, and he is by no means quiet about it…
"Eli, I am sick of it. Every person I have met in this militia, the redcloaks or the scouts have all been very good people, but they don't do anything about problems unless it happens in this town! Guess what? Evil doesn't give a damn about "Jurisdiction"… and it is going to do what the hell it wants at all times... and if anyone thinks they are going to stop any form of evil or wrongdoing with the outlook of "Only if it happens in our realm" They are wrong. Horribly wrong.
That is why I quit the scouts. That is why I punched the damned Orc. I am not going to have people as terrible as that, walking around, harassing innocent people…. MY friends. IF the orcs target me, so be it. IF the militia arrest me, so be it. IF a price gets put on my head, so be it. But for the love of Mielikki, I am going to do the right thing... because it seems nobody else in these damn lands will..."
Caelian then walks over and sits next to the fire, pulling out his hunting knife and an apple, and begins eating.
