_Citizens of Norwick,
It is with grief and somber heart that I must announce the death of our Constable, Wren Halfabrick, who fell exposing and foiling a plot to kill many of our citizens. The plot failed because of our Constable's sacrifice, but also because of the diligence and reporting of Norwick's alert citizens. Had an alert merchant not reported the suspicious activity he saw immediately, many more might have perished.
We ask you to honor the Constable's memory by obeying the law she strove to uphold and standing steadfast against the murderers and jackals who assassinated her.
We are told the Temple of the Triad will be holding a requiem mass in the Chapel of Ilmater; condolences to Wren's family may be sent to Just'ene in Jiyyd for collection and dispatching._
Gravely nodding to the murmuring and worried citizenry, she returns to her office to change into something more colorful.
