    Tendo Masicochi was once a somewhat renowned Hin pit fighter of Peltarch, having won more fights than he lost, a lot more. After a rather nasty fight against a half-orc he had to retire. He retired to Jiyyd on what money was left, which was enough, the thing is… this is not about him!

    Akane Masicochi has stood by her fathers’ side before and after many a fight and learnt much of his fighting style. Now that he had to retire it’s her turn to make a name for herself. Not getting involved in the pits like her father she set out, to train, have fun, and fight. If she can do all three at once then all the better. She may not be the perfect image of monkhood or lawfulness but she tries to always keep her word and stand her ground. She keeps to the teachings of the Anything goes School of Marshal Arts, which are pretty lax anyway.

    These rules being in order of importance:

    1. Never fight on an empty stomach.
    2. Running away if you know you can’t win it is not dishonourable. Its really a good idea sometimes.
    3. Try not to die it is not good for your health.
    4. Fight well, in respect for your opponent.
    5. Learn all you can about the art and train daily.
    6. If you have no idea what someone is going on about, smile and nod.

    As for her mother she’s fine with it all as long as Akane stays out of trouble and does not start thumping people she don’t like.
