Moved in from the greater Norwick area where his farm was destroyed during the war, the man known as Galen is seen around town selling firewood to all who have need. He speaks often of his family living in the tents, and that life is hard since the war but they are making do.

After a discussion with the Chancellor, Galen is seen regularly delivering firewood to the Great Hall and the barracks.
Rumor has it that the Chancellor took an immediate liking to the enterprising young father, and has asked Ivor to add him to his list of culinary recipients.
