A Process by which a player can remove a Character from the game, and gain some benefits for a new starting Character.
- Retired character must be level 6 or higher.
- Retired character must be 6 months old.
- PC to be retired must be alive and in your vault (note - it is a requirement that the PC be current).
- The player must accept the fact that his retired character is permanently retired. There is no backing out of this program once accepted. You must be sure that you no longer wish to play your retired character anymore.
- Choose starting town
- New PC begins with half of retiring PC's level +2. Odd levels are added as a half level.
- New PC receives 1000gp multiplied by the retiring PC's level
- New PC receives magic items with points on the enchantment scale totaling retiring PC's level, maximum 9 points per item.
- New PC can have Masterwork Starting Items at 1pt per item
- New PC receives bonus gold based on their crafting skills.
- 100 gp / 100 skillpoints up to 500, 200gp / 100 skillpoints from 501 to 800, 300gp / 100 skillpoints from 801 to 1000.
- example; a character with 805 blacksmith points will get (100gp*5) + (200gp * 3) = 1100 gp
- If a PC retires with all their gear, New PC gets to enchant at 0xp cost and NPC enchanter gold pricing. Using only their starting equipment and gold. If the PC retires without all their equipment they do not get the bonus enchantment.(Enchanting rules apply, no writeup needed, no failure chance)
- Customized equipment is allowed as long as it has no properties
