The examine system will now include player-specified "flavor text" and "lore text." These will appear in the chat log when you examine a player (or any other creature that has these values set). These items can be changed via command line at any time.
Available to everyone and can be used as a supplement to the description box in the examine window. To set this, use the command:
!description flavor <description>
(You replace "<description>" with whatever it is you want the flavor text to say.)
Only be available to people possessing a lore (or spellcraft) skill of the specified amount. Please note: THIS IS NOT A ROLL. That means if you specify a "DC" of 5, the examiner must have at least 5 lore (sheet) or they will not see the information. That means if you set a "DC" to 30, likely only a bard or two will ever know the information.
There are two tags: "lore" and "spell" (not case sensitive). "Lore" (obviously) represents a lore DC, and "spell" represents a spellcraft DC.
The actual description you set will use tags to denote specific information with DCs within the text. For example:
"You don't need lore to read this. [lore 5]You need 5 lore to read this. [lore 10]You need 10 lore to read this. [spell 10]You need 10 spellcraft to read this."
OR
"[lore 0] You don't need lore to read this. [lore 5]You need 5 lore to read this. [lore 10]You need 10 lore to read this. [spell 10]You need 10 spellcraft to read this. [spell 0]You don't need any spellcraft to read this."
To set lore text, use the command:
!description lore <description>
(You replace "<description>" with whatever it is you want the lore text to say.)
