  @a0445e096c=BainIthron: Upon… likely... hearing of Mecc's search for Andu, Mirk would inform Mecc that Fadia is the new Archdruid, and if he seeks some sort of alliance with the glenn, he should speak with her ((I'm assuming the sly bard would have heard rumours of him looking for Andu. If my assumptions are wrong, attlen, inform me or reply, and i'll remove the post ;))) At the very least, Mecc would probably hear such from Tindra if he were to ask her if he could speak to her mate.

  _Oreth, understandably unable to patrol the whole rawlins at once, only sees Rando on his return. He mutters to himself, watching the man with barely-restrained violence, but doesn't make a move, or speak. When the murderer is gone, he disappears into the wood. A funereal chant in draconic can be heard from the woods south of norwick for about half an hour._

  Dark armor glinting red in the sunlight, the chancellor walks amongst the wounded and dead. He uses what power he has to heal but says little. Finally he steps out into the square and speaks loudly over the gathering in a slow, dull monotone. "The gates…will be bolstered...conscripts...hired...and the militia...will have ...a strong...captain...again." he gaze turns slowly to the north "the northmen...have one week...to explain...or they will...see what...it feels like...to have their...towns...painted in...the blood...of families...and loved ones." [his calm gaze turns to the gossiping rabble-rousers] "Outsiders…have brought...calamity...to Norwick...in the past...and if...it is...discovered...that this..." [he waves a hand over the bloody slaughter and burning homes] "…is the result...of fugitives...attacking ...or robbing...the eastlanders...and using our ...walls...and our lives...as shields...they will...feel the...Hunter's...wrath." He orders the remaining militia to seek out volunteers to build defenses then, with a glance of concern at Jandor's boarded up and well-guarded home, offers charters to adventurer conscripts willing to fight in the town's defense. The gold, he promises with another glance at the mayor's barricaded home, will come from his personal funds. //ooc on Please respect a slight delay of responses since ic messengers have to wait for a DM responses and such. Assume the "one week" is as long as it takes for Maythor to send back the messenger's head. //ooc off

  The civilians of Norwick are told to keep calm as the situation could very easily be the fault of the adventurers in question, as it often is. A messenger is seen leaving the chancellor's offices and heading into the Nars pass. // ooc to SDM The usually diplomatic query from the chancellor that you'd expect from a Malarite is sent to Atol … "you have drawn blood from my pack, bandit. Explain, or prepare for the slaughter." // ooc off

By the time the reknowned dwarven hero finishes his speech a group of gruff-looking warriors has gathered near the darkly armored cleric's side. Finally, the red-skinned chancellor turns and walks briskly to his offices…the men all clutching their hilts and glancing around them with wary eyes.
