As Dawn breaks, the Stone gates that had sealed Norwick's northern entrance for recent times lay in ruin. An eerie silence lays across the land, broken only by the return of morning-songbirds.
As one enters Norwick, signs of a great battle are visible. There are heaps of smoldering carcasses. By the looks (and the smell, for those that know it) hundreds of goblinoids…two of the bettern known species goblinus minorus and golbinus majorus - bugbearius are laying in giant pires and being burnt.
The rest of Norwick lays in ruins as well.. not many buildings stand. Refugees start dribbling in and just stand, staring in awe at what used to be their home.
The spirit of Norwick folk is not one to be diminshed, however. After the initial shock is over, everyone, from the Militia guards to the tailor-merchants begin clearing the rubble and going through the ruins. A new day has started, and for the first time in many ten-day, the sun is shining on Norwick.
